L.A.M.M.A

L.A.M.M.A 2011 (Lincolnshire, Agricultural, Machinery, Manufacturing Association) held its annual commercial and corporate event once again at the Newark Showground on 19th and 20th January. Yes I know its modern stuff, but there is a small vintage section organised by the Notts Group NVTEC in cooperation with the LAMMA organisers. I though it appropriate to attend the event this year and represent my own group, The North Worcestershire Vintage Tractor and Engine Club. I attended alone because my usuall assistants were either at college or work, so I was limited in what I could take. A small display was erected alongside the Notts Group stand and they provided me with adequate refreshments all day long. Fantastic! Thanks go to David Green, Pat and Phil Scarborough and all the other present from the Notts Group.
This is the Notts and North Worcestershire car park at the Newark Showground on Tuesday 18th January.

Just a small selection of vintage tractors present in the Newark Pavilion.

This is the final set up day before the event opens, and here is a small selection taken before the gates opened the next day

This is a selection of opening day shots and the various displays etc.

Now before the complaints come in, I know this is supposed to be a vintage themed Blog, but a once in a while diversification doesn't really matter does it?
