This last Sunday, the North Worcestershire Vintage Tractor and Engine Club help the 2nd Brian Cawson Memorial Tractor Run. Sadly we lost Brian just over one year ago.
Once again this was in aid of the Midland Air Ambulance.
Hosted by Maurice Allely, who himself was in hospital, we departed from his Haydon Way Farm near Studley to follow a 19 miles route, some of which was along 'green lanes', now filled with deep water in places from the previous nights heavy rain.
We all returned to the farm for light refreshments and warm soup, and a good time was had by all.
In the photographs we have Bernard Whitehouse with a later model Fordson Dexta towing passengers, then we have two of the S.E. Davis tractors with Seb Williams leading Miles Banks, and finally yours truly leading the parade down Spernal Lane from Haydon Way Farm. I am being followed by Geoff Lamb on an Allis Chalmers and behind Geoff is Neill Lobb with his little grey 'Fergie' complete with patriotic flags.
Pictures courtesy of Matty Bisp, thank you.
